I have also tried locking it from the inside door itself.
My alarm arms but the doors wont lock.
When i push the alarm button to disarm it unlocks and doors and is fine.
All the doors lock fine.
Any advice would be appreciated.
In any case this does not mean your alarm isn t armed when the doors don t work it just means the actuator malfunctioned and you just lock them manually.
The connecting tab can either be tightened or replaced as needed.
This evening i accidently set off the panic alarm when putting the key ring in my pocket.
I turned it off but when i hit the lock button on the key the lights flashed the doors locked but the horn did not toot.
I have to open the door and push the lock button.
Press and release do not press and hold.
The alarm is the one that locks and unlocks the doors for me.
If it is loose or has slipped out of the mortise place it back in the mortise and tighten the screws with a phillips screwdriver.

Have the vehicle turned off and the doors closed unlock the vehicle or disarm the alarm system by pressing unlock on your remote.
Press the unlock and the trunk buttons ii iii at the same time.
I get the standard two beeps when unlocking.

The fix is easy too.
I have a 1997 nissan sentra with auto locks and an aftermarket alarm and when i press the arm button my alarm arms but doesn t lock my doors the unlock button will unarm my car and unlock the doors if i lock them manually how can i fix this myself.
When i press lock on the key fob i get the standard beep then another beep about a second later and the alarm will not arm.
Any alarm installer should usually have spare connecting tabs.
