Shorter video for me this week i hope that you find it useful. Hopefully this will shed a little more light on. The top drain holes can be seen when the roof is down on the either side of the folding mechanism behind the seat belts. With the roof up have a feel behind the seatbelt towers you ll find it when your finger goes in.

The one on the passenger side is blocked up. On the miata rf there are drains located in a similar location as the soft top except that they re inaccessible without pulling panels off and digging through a bunch of the roof crap to get at them. I had quite a bit of water in there last week and was worried i d not find it it would be under. The drain holes underneath are pointed out in the following picture.
